Teton Wilderness Rides - Wyoming
Wilderness Rides and Fishing - with Pack Horses

Join us in what some people call Paradise. The beauty and serenity of the vast and spectacular Teton Wilderness laying next to Yellowstone Park, and north of the Majestic Tetons and Jackson Hole. All trips depart from Turpin Meadows, north of Jackson, and take place within the Bridger-Teton National Forest - an area known for its vastness and unmatched beauty of flowers, waterfalls and abundance of Game and Fish.
Trips are geared to sight-seeing, photography and horseback riding, with some stream and lake fishing. Points of interest are: Yellowstone Meadows and the head waters of the Yellowstone. Two Ocean Pass on the Continental Divide and the parting of the waters. North Fork Falls on the fork of the Buffalo. Ferry Lake, Crater Lake, and the Big Springs in the Soda Fork of the Buffalo. Pendergraft Peak, Upper and Lower Pendergraft Meadows, South Fork Falls on the south fork of the Buffalo…

Itinerary
Your hosts will meet you at the Antler Inn in Jackson at 6:30 am on the morning of trip departure for transfer to the Base Camp at Turpin Meadows. After you met the crew you are fitted to your horse and saddle, the mules packed and head up the trail on a sensational adventure into the vast Teton Wilderness.
Once you have reached one of our campsites, your horses, gear and cooking chores are taken care of for you. You just get settled into your tents and relax. Our experienced crew will take care of the work and you take care of the site-seeing and fishing. Daily you ride to high peaks with breathtaking views, take a leisurely hike or try your luck fly-fishing for Cutthroat Trout.
Return is scheduled on your last day arriving in Jackson around 6:00 PM.

The Camps consist of a very large kitchen area and enough three men tents to accommodate your party and our crew. These are three men tents but we only bunk one or two people and their gear in each tent. These 6'3" tents, constructed out of heavy canvas, have large screened windows, vinyl floors and a completely closeable door.

The cooks are top-of-the-line pack trip cooks and they will serve you with meals that you thought could only be prepared in the convenience of a home kitchen. You will be treated to a hearty breakfast of Sausage, Ham, Bacon, Eggs, Flapjacks, French Toast, Potatoes, Toast...Lunch consists of a variety of Lunch Meats, Cheeses, Fruits and Candy Bars, and then a mouthwatering evening meal consisting of Steaks, Chicken, Beef and Pork Roasts, Potatoes, Fresh Vegetables, Salads, Desserts, Juices, Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate...(All You can Eat)...Yes, first class Dutch oven meals...with all the trimmings
