Green Mountains Getaway
A place of Serenity and Endless Riding Trails

Vermont's peaceful beauty is unique in the Northeast. It is a place where farm fields still roll right up to the edge of villages and where lofty mountains and crystal clear lakes are everyday companions. Located in the heart of Central Vermont’s Green Mountain National Forest we offer a great getaway with overnights at an country inn with numerous facilities and superb dining - steeped in the finest New England tradition.
Enjoy the spectacular property as you walk, trot or canter through serene mountain pastures, over miles of wooded trails and by untouched lakes and ponds. Enjoy the lush, green canopy of spring, the flowering country fields of summer and the brilliant colors of autumn’s foliage on  guided trail rides. Experienced rider or new in the saddle, the professional instructors will help you to improve your riding ability – English or Western. Serious riders can also take advantage of Jumping, Dressage and Introduction to Cross Country instruction and clinics.
We can tailor a personalized riding vacation to suit your needs and ability level, making it as varied and intensive as desired. Each day can be fully booked with riding and lessons, or be a more leisurely day of part- time riding and full- time relaxing. In addition to the stables, the resort’s numerous facilities include tennis, swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, massage services, clay bird shooting, fly fishing, nearby golf…or just simply enjoying the breathtaking vista from a comfortable chair.
