Cleone Gardens Inn

Cleone means beautiful and gracious . . . a Greek word indicating lion like qualities that are reflected in our logo.

 Our "park like Inn" offers the discerning traveler a quiet setting on 5 acres of spacious grounds in the community of Cleone - gateway to MacKerricher State Park. Our central meadow is a focal point, accented with a redwood grove, fir trees, numerous seasonal flowers and shrubs. It provides a visual expanse where you can stroll or relax, enjoying the warm sun or evening stars and moonlight. Our large outdoor decks provide space for group functions, etc.

The Inn consists of comfortable units all with private bath. Each accommodation is different, some features may include fireplace, kitchen with dining area, 2 bedroom suite, double/queen/king size bed, television, AM/FM stereo radio, accent antique furniture pieces, garden entries, and/or private deck. Our Grandpa's Cottage is also available for spacious family privacy, located next to our pasture. (Most rooms are dedicated for non-smokers.)

Close by the Inn, one has access to miles of sandy ocean beaches, sand dunes, the facilities of MacKerricher State Park, Lake Cleone, Inglenook Fen, country market, restaurants, campgrounds and riding stable; all of which are within easy walking distance. The nearby communities of Fort Bragg, Casper, Mendocino and Westport provide a wide variety of sightseeing activities and attractions for visitors.

Our separate Aslan Beach House is located 1 1/2 blocks from the ocean on a 4 acre tree and sand dune parcel containing two suites available for our guests. These deluxe suites offer a variety of views to the ocean, surrounding trees and sand dunes, or fish pond. Its oriental theme adds to your escape into a world of simple comfort where the sound of the ocean surf greets your ears morning and night.

Guests may have the opportunity to choose from optional Inn services: outdoor jacuzzi hot tub, a bed and breakfast plan with full breakfast served to your room between 8 and 9am, special guest rates at the Redwood Health Club in Fort Bragg. Other Inn extras include: sun decks, picnic areas, and lending library.
