Accommodation
The lodge's distinctive and comfortable log structure is set against a
background of soaring mountains. It stands amid fir, spruce, cottonwood and
aspen trees, with Papoose Creek running through the property.
The massive log structure houses five guest rooms with private bathrooms as well
as the dining room and great room. There, guests gather for meals, relaxation,
activities and entertainment. The hot tub on the banks of Papoose Creek, just a
short distance from the lodge, beckons.
Each of the three freestanding cabins is just a short walk from the main lodge
and offers a guest room and private bathroom. The deluxe cabin boasts a stone
fireplace and whirlpool tub. The cabins blend well into the rugged environment
as they are built of reclaimed barn wood and Wyoming snow fencing.
The rooms have been designed with great charm and attention to detail, while
offering guests a taste of Montana. Luxurious furnishing and paintings by local
wildlife and western artists give an individual touch. Each room has a balcony
or a walk-out porch with comfortable chairs; spacious bathrooms feature
radiant-heated floor tiles. Room amenities consist of gentle organic soaps,
shampoos and lotions, soft robes, electric fans and CD players. Literature in
each room includes novels by western writers, as well as bird, flower and nature
guides.
