In California's Northern Lassen County...A working ranch
with authentic western guest facilities - the Spanish Springs Ranch! There
are many activities to fill your day. Of course, horseback riding is the
main activity, with many trail rides of varying skill levels going out each
day on thousands of acres of trails. We also have a full-size professional
rodeo arena where you can learn barrel racing or team penning. Riding
lessons and roping lessons are also provided.
Be a cowboy on the Madeline Plains. Each day you'll saddle up by the
corral at the tack room and ride to Lopez Meadows or over Spanish Springs
Peak looking for the wild mustang and antelope. Youngsters and beginners can
learn to ride under the watchful eye of a seasoned buckaroo in the Bo
Roberts Rodeo Arena. Evening camp fires and trail rides are also scheduled
throughout each week. For the adventuresome, learn to rope, barrel race,
gather cattle and even brand spring calves.
Today, we invite you to ride, play and work year' round with our buckaroos
while vacationing in our extensive guest facilities. Spanish Springs offers
a memorable experience and good time for young and old, singles and
families. Come, let us show you ...
