This relaxing cycling holiday passes through the heart of the French pre- Alps, taking in the main towns of interest as well as top class vineyards and crystal clear lakes. Quiet cycle tracks, smooth lanes and gentle trails weave its way through a pastoral landscape with the snow -capped peaks in the horizon. Join us in this famous wine region, where chateaux and resorts are making a name for themselves and relax at our authentic friendly hotels. Starting and finishing at the romantic town of Annecy, otherwise known as the Venice of the Alps will allow you to truly experience the French Alps at your own pace.

Day 1 Arrival Day. Transfer from Geneva airport to Talloires on the shores of Lac d'Annecy (1 hr).
Day 2  Freedom DayVisit Talloires and the castle of Menthon Saint-Bernard or take a boat trip across the Lac d'Annecy.
Day 3  Today's ride over the col de Tamié will bring you to the small village of Grésy-sur-Isère (46 km).
Day 4  Freedom DayWalk up to the medieval village of Conflans. Explore the winter Olympic town of Albertville.
Day 5 Onwards through some of the region's finest vineyards to Le Moulin de la Tourne, an old paper mill and farmhouse set near Lac de Saint-André (36 km).
Day 6 Freedom Day Explore the neighbouring villages of Barraux and Apremont and their fine wines! Cycle to the historic and capital town of Chambéry with its fine castle.
Day 7  Passing by France's biggest inland lake, Lac du Bourget, you will arrive at the spa town of Aix-les-Bains (42 km).
Day 8  Freedom DayCycle around the Lac du Bourget and visit the Abbaye de Haute-Combe.Take a boat trip across Lac du Bourget.
Day 9  The final stage leads back to Annecy (48 km).
Day 10 Freedom DayPedal to romantic Annecy along the lake, known as the "Venice of the Alps".
Day 11 Departure Day.Transfer to Geneva airport (1 hr).
