Sunday, Day 1 LONDON Begin your cruise with lunch at Cadogan Hotel before being escorted to the Magna Carta at 4 pm Champagne reception and welcome by the Captain. Dinner aboard Monday, Day 2 THAMES BARRIER TO ST KATHARINE'S DOCK Cruising today takes in some of London's most historic sights Grenwich and the famous tea clipper Cutty Sark, the Royal Naval College and the contraversial Millenium Dome. Moor over night adjacent to the Tower of London at St Katharine's Dock. Renovated in the 1970's it retains it's swing bridge, boutique shops and restaurants around the Yacht haven. Dinner aboard Tuesday, Day 3 ST KATHARINE'S DOCK TO HAMPTON COURTToday we cruise past London's most famous signts, The Tate Gallery, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, 'Big Ben', Royal Festival Hall, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Tower of London viewed from a perspective seldom seen by other travelers. Mooring in chic and fashionable Chelsea, we will disembark for a tour of the City's sights We pass Hyde Park, Marble Arch, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace and St Paul's Cathedral to name but a few easy to reach visits. Afternoon cruise through Richmond past the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew, founded in 1759 by Princess Augusta. Moor for the night at Hampton Court, the former Tudor Palace of Henry VIII. Dinner aboard Wednesday, Day 4 HAMPTON COURT TO RUNNYMEDEMorning excursion to visit the state apartments of Henry VIII, whose 5th wife Catherine Howard is said to haunt the Great Hall and Gallery of Hampton Court, the finest Tudor Palace in existence. Wander through the beautiful Royal gardens and maze. In the afternoon enjoy a meandering cruise following the course of the Thames. Dinner aboard Thursday, Day 5 RUNNYMEDE TO WINDSOR Moored at Bell Weir Lock adjacent to a luxury spa hotel, we have the opportunity to visit the spa before cruising through Runnymede, where King John faced the powerful barons and signed the 'Magna Carta" in 1215 and passing the J F Kennedy Memorial. Afternoon excursion to visit Windsor Castle. Built by William the Conqueror it has been inhabited for over 900 years by the Royal Family. Moor on a private island with a unique view of the Castle. Dinner aboard Friday, Day 6 WINDSOR TO COOKHAM Leaving Royal Windsor behind us we cruise past fabulous waterside homes through the spectacular Clivedon reach and the open english countryside. We moor in Cookham, once described as 'Heaven on Earth' by artist Stanley Spencer, one of England's greatest and most eccentric painters, whose gallery we visit. Captains Farewell Dinner aboard Saturday, Day 7 COOKHAM TO LONDON Following breakfast disembark at 10 am and return to London. NOTE: On alternate weeks, cruise will be in reverse direction.
