Life at the lodge
The main activity at the ranch is the horse program which includes riding instruction time for those unfamiliar with the sport, as well as more advanced lessons for those wishing to improve their skills. The indoor riding arena came in handy for that occasional rain storm that we can get in the mountains. Now you can ride on those rainy days and not get wet! Wranglers lead morning and afternoon trail rides into high mountain vistas and along rushing rivers and creeks. This past summer we added cattle penning to our itinerary and all of the guests enjoyed this new addition. This activity gives everyone a chance to "chase a cow." It was fun for everyone and some good entertaining watching for those less adventurous!

Accommodations and meals
Your home while visiting the Ranch will be a uniquely appointed log cabin with private entrance, sun chairs, queen beds, full private bath & sitting area. The Ranch provides linen, bath & pool towels along with daily maid service.    see Floorplan
Three meals are served per day in the lodge dining room. We strive to serve traditional fare with a flair. Fresh fruit, home baked breads and pastries accompany meals.
There is a new fitness center with gym, bike, Olympic trainer, free weights and yoga mat.
The ranch provides free wireless access to all ranch guests. YOu need to bring your own laptop (or better - leave it at home).

Horseback Riding
- The ranch is home to 90 head of horses. Our horse to guest ratio of 2 to 1 allows us to suit horses to the riders individual riding ability and experience level. Whether your an old hand or someone who needs a little hand we're sure you will enjoy your time in the saddle. Your horse will be your horse for the week. He will be ready and waiting for you every morning of your stay. Our riding program allows for unlimited riding time. We offer morning and afternoon rides. The first rides leave the corral right after breakfast and will return to the ranch for lunch. The afternoon ride's leave the corrals between 1:00 & 1:30. Later in the week after we have given horses and riders time to become familiar with one another there are fast rides offered. During the main season there is a weekly breakfast ride. The all day ride is on Saturday. Riding lessons are available to all of our ranch guests. If you come mainly to improve your riding, we offer instructions on a private or semi-private basis at an additional cost - let us know in advance.

Other Activities
