The YUTURI complex is located on the shores of a beautiful series of
lakes surrounded by jungle and all the wonderful sounds of different kinds
of animals, as well as the tranquility of the majestic rain forest. The
complex includes 15 tropical huts (double occupancy) with private bath.
The huts have been built with typical materials in native style to fit in
with the surrounding environment. Lodging is comfortable and food service
is excellent. The word Yuturi comes from Quichua language and refers to
the giants Paraponera of the area.
Among the various activities in the program are piranha fishing,
hiking, canoeing, and specially interesting the night time canoe cruise in
search for caimans. Early morning birdwatching is also a real treat with
the chance to see dozens of species in a short period of time. YUTURI is
considered one of the best bird watching sites.
